I've been working on NMS lore inspired Tarot cards lately, here are the 22 major ones ! Still working on the 56 minor ones, when they're done I'll print the whole deck !

I started this project as a way to improve my drawing skills on a numeric tablet and It got to the point where now I want to print a few decks and send them to hello games ! I don't know when I will be done, but I'm slowly getting there

Cheers to Hello Games

I’ve been here for a while but it’s my first time making a post like this.

I know there are some bugs and some of you haven’t seen the new content yet but let me say this: the bugs are all minor and will be fixed soon, with the sheer amount of content that has been released a lot of things could go wrong but didnt’t and I’m honestly impressed with one of the biggest updates I’ve seen since Oranges.

They integrated the scanner mechanic from the past expedition very well and now harmonic camps have more backstory, purpose and life; we also finally have a good reason to harvest atlantideum and visit Korvax ruins.

I like the fact that there are more interactions both on planets (variety doesn’t need to come necessarly in the shape of terrain generation) and in space (pirates aren’t anymore a few rogue ships and feel like a real force in the galaxy).

The autophages have a lot of potential and a good backstory, if the story will go in the direction I think we’ll be able to see a lot of cool things.

The new aesthetics are great, I went full on with the ‘ancient wanderer’ theme and it looks gorgerous.

Y’all, I don’t know what to add, while many updates feel like updates, this one feels like an upgrade and I’m hyped for the incoming expedition.

Have fun travelers!

I love that exploring is now a valid way to get nanites

The increased pay for discovering all fauna on a planet is something that pulled me back into the game recently. I’m the kind of guy who explores and scans as much as he can on *every* planet of *every* system I come across (except for the systems I join from the Nexus) because I like it, and with 3 S class scanner upgrades, it’s always been my main way of making money in this game. And now, it’s also a legit way to get a ton of Nanites when getting all the fauna.

Thank you Hello Games.

I have two side notes regarding fauna though. First, I’m not exactly sure when they added that, but I never really noticed that some creatures were only found in north or south of a planet. It’s a nice touch I think. Second there are still creatures that are definitely not spawning as the discovery page says. I have a planet on my home system that just won’t spawn the last fauna… which would give me 2 250 nanites.

Huh, that’s neat

Glyphs are in screenshot, it is on Euclid Galaxy, and it’s at coords -28.64, -142.14 on planet Snomchus Signa (I did not change the name). I’ve never seen anything like it. submitted by /u/Thee-Plague-Doctor [link] [comments…

Let me map planets

I wish the planets had an actual map in the discovery screen, where you could see each waypoint discovered and spin the globe. I feel like it would very simply add a lot of depth to a shallow experience So many things they could flesh out in this game…

Play past expeditions today(only on pc, sorry console people)

One question that I’ve seen asked quite often is if it is possible to play past expeditions, and people usually answer that aside from the four redux expeditions at the end of the year, you can’t, officially, that is the only way. However, there is a very easy and safe workaround that allows you to play any expedition at any time.

The data of all the past expeditions is still in the game, but these expeditions can no longer be accessed. However, there’s a file named SEASON_DATA_CACHE.json that controls the start and end dates of the expeditions, the milestones, the rewards, and a bit more. By editing this file, you can make these expeditions playable again without messing with the actual game files or your save file. JSON files are a bit hard to read and understand at first, but someone on github has already modified the file for all past expeditions, even accounting for the inventory system change in the Waypoint update. It’s literally just drag and drop; just make sure to read the readme files first, there’s a very good tutorial and notes about the expeditions, like bugs and possible workarounds.
