Tips on 'Salvaged frigate modules' and how to get them early game(50-60 hour's in)

Best method for me: Just rip the fleets in space apart,don’t bother looking for the cargo pods withe the modules. Destroy everything,so the freighters as well. Easy targets and they give you great loot(s-class freighter upgrades+dumbloads of bulkhead storage modules which you need to expand the storage and tech slots on your freighter)as well. Just have enough sodium to recharge your shields. You can do that with 3-4 fleets in every system before they stop spawning. Then just jump to the next system and repeat.

Note: Try to go to rich systems. I don’t know if you get s-class upgrades in poorer systems as well. Always keep an eye on the race of the system(Gek,Korvax,Vykeen). Stick with one race,cause after all you gonna destroy your own reputation pretty quickly. So loose it on one and not all three of them.

End of the song: Keep expanding your freighter slots with the bulkhead storage modules(you can choose if you wanna use them for tech or storage,just click on a tech slot and it will be used for that), soon you will have more bulkhead storage modules and freighter upgrades than you need so you can sell them for nanites at the space station. Meanwhile your ‘salvaged frigate modules’ keep filling up. Still gonna take time but you gonna kill a LOT of bird’s with one stone.

Me and my friend group of 10ish are looking to possibly play NMS together for this first time! Is th...

Hey NMS community! As the title says, my friend group is looking for our next survival sandbox game to play and No Man’s Sky is popping up on our radar! After discovering all of the updates this game has undergone over the years, we are hopeful that this is something that we can all play together and put a bunch time into for the foreseeable future..

However;

We are aware that the game allows up to groups of 4 and after some light research on YouTube and Reddit, we are NOT quite sure what all that entails:

We see that 32 people can be in the same instance at a time on PC.. Does this mean we can all play with each other, build bases, quest together etc. in multiple groups of 4 (or less) at the same time?

In other sandbox-survival type games that we have played together thus far (Age of Conan, Ark, Terraria, Minecraft etc.) we had the freedom to pretty much play through those games together, interacting and doing objectives with eachother as a whole as much as we pleased.

So our main concern is are we going to be able to play most of the game together as a collective? Since we are pretty unfamiliar with how the game works and plays (we didn’t want to over-research on youtube and spoil the gameplay), we weren’t sure that, being such a large group, would we be relatively alienated from each other via the limited 4-man group sizes and if NMS is the type of game we are looking to play together as a full goon squad!

Thanks for any and all info guys!!

I've only hopped galaxies once. Does one to recollect glyphs?

A few years ago I finished a few of the storylines (I’m pretty sure that Atlas and I came to an agreement) and I ended up with all 16 glyphs then. I travelled to the 2nd galaxy, found my ship, then logged off. Haven’t been back to that save since. If I logged in would I have to get 16 new glyphs? Like, I think the symbols are all the same but would I have to collect them again?

New Player Here. Got gifted ~250 million Units in the Anomaly on my first visit to it. Wondering wha...

The title is what happened. I discovered the anomaly, was meeting all of the iterations, and then I saw some fellow Travelers and I started using finger gun emotes and jumping around. One of them said some stuff in Cyrillic that I didn’t understand and then filled my inventory with items that were worth more than 1000x my total earnings at that point.

I’ve played enough games like this to know that the struggle to survive and build your own equipment and base is kind of the point. So I haven’t sold anything — I just put it all in storage and have been playing as if I didn’t have it. Figured I would ask you all if you have any advice.

Is there anything you WOULD recommend spending it on? Maybe an annoying and non-immersive part of the new player experience that I can circumvent with a Scrooge McDuck swimming pool of money?
