If this update is symbolic of the 5 year anniversary and the progress the game has made since then, I think we all know more-or-less that Sean would put out an incomplete release over his cold, dead body.
Not again. Never again.
Especially given the symbolic nature of this update, turning the ship around big time, just keeping quiet and working until the update is ready for release would, I think, be the main takeaway from 2016.
It’s the most simple answer. Just has no intention of rushing out something that is not done (as opposed to waiting for some magic date or event).
