(Might include some tiny spoilers for those who haven’t played the storyline yet)

… what are the travelers really?

We are no Gek, Korvax or Vyr’ken, we can change shape almost freely.

We are almost immortal when exposed to space but get terribly hurt by falling on the surface of water.

We talk to the big entity like it’s nothing but are hunted by its workers.

We return into existence after death.

My best guess: we are either a selfdefence mechanism of Atlas, fighting a reoccurring errors in its system, like… the density of water.

Or we actually are an extra space intelligence aside from the big three. Why else would we get hurt by water but not by falling through space? A good spacesuit would withstand both.

I usually play more single player games so when I saw starfield is coming out in 3 months I got in a space game mood and decided to try out no man’s sky and the reason I said surprisingly wholesome is because usually the people who play survival games aren’t the friendliest bunch you know what I mean games like dayz or rust you try to meet up with people and they either kill you and shout slurs or grief you or back stab you along the way so anyway while doing the tutorial quests I got into the anomaly for the first time and checked out the place for a bit and this random dude invited me into his group I joined them I told them I was new and they immediately helped me out we did a bunch of stuff together one of them gave me a bunch of shit to sell which I used to buy a new ship and he even showed me how to build a base and even when I asked how to get more blueprints they helped and showed me how to find those buried tech for the salvaged data but anyways my point is props to the NMS community for being so helpful to new players can’t wait to grind further 🔥🔥🔥

I’m new to the game, and recently I ran into a loophole which is impossible to get out from unless I die.

I went on a planet with aggresive sentinels, they obviously started attacking so I decided to leave, as soon as I left the planet’s atmosphere I was intercepted by sentinel ships. I had no interests in fighting them either, so I decided to land on another planet. As soon as I landed I was attacked again by them.

Would you try guessing what would happen if I tried to leave? Sentinel ships in space will pop out of nowhere to harass me again.

I have no interests in fighting and getting harassed 24/7 by low IQ bots. How do I get rid of this loophole? Thanks
