NMS HOT POST 2022/12/5

What advice would you give yourself when you started the game?

I just pulled the trigger and bought due to the 50% off on steam. I have played about an hour, spawned on a hot planet and got my ship up and running. I could play long so I got off just before getting to the signal.

While I know there are a million different ways to play this game is there anything I should know or do early on that will make things less complicated or easier on me in the future? Do I have to build a base on a planet or can I just have a freighter in space? How do I get a freighter? How do I get more ships and can I upgrade my suit?

Just some basic questions I have because I know I really want to enjoy this game and really am so far however I also have a tendency to get very overwhelmed with video games that stop holding your hand three hours in and leave you to do whatever.

What advice would you give to yourself when you started the game?

The biggest and most under-discussed injustice within No Mans Sky needs addressed by Hello Games. We...

This might be a bit controversial, but as a day one player, it is absolutely not fair getting all these amazing updates, watching the community grow, come together and enjoy the beauty of a nearly infinite universe

WITHOUT A GODDAMN CAPE.

This is a massive injustice to the community and borderline spiteful. It isn’t fair that Nada gets to flaunt what is apparently the only cape in the entire universe while I gaze upon it longingly.

ITS BEEN 6 GODDAMN YEARS SEAN. LET ME BE A SPACE SUPERHERO ALREADY.
