Has anyone ever encountered this before.

I was doing my usual thing just exploring the system with my pulse drive when I encountered this. I was doing a quest so I didn’t go through the portal, because I didn’t know how far it would take me away. But the second picture is a lot clearer since I took them on my phone. It does have the symbols though. Lastly just to know how big it is I was in a ship about the same as the starter one and the portal is a little bigger than the wing span. And if anyone goes to a portal can u please see where this goes and get back thanks submitted by /u/tiversero |

Would you support an update that improves combat in NMS?
In my opinion, it would be nice if we had an update that focused on improving combat in the game, and perhaps introduced a way for players who would like it, to be challenged. The derelict freighters so far have been the closest update I can think of that deals with combat, and they are a lot of fun; however there’s still room for improvement with spaceship combat, melee weapons, or exocraft combat. For example in my testing with other players, two players can’t hurt eachother while in minotaurs, and so you can’t have mechbattles between players; however, a minotaur can shoot a spacecraft down, and a spacecraft can blow up a minotaur, so there’s that. Anyway would you support improvements to combat, and if so, how would those improvements look to you?

Will we ever be able to see other player's ship names?
I’d love to be able to see other people’s ship names (and stats). Especially now that you can build your own ship, I’m sure a lot of people have interesting ship names and/or stories.
Same goes for pets and freighters. We’ve got it for base names so why not for everything else?
