In my latest experiment, I tried to space walk to the Anomaly to learn about its gravity field and to see if I could either walk on it or enter it on foot. I parked my freighter under it, boosted off a frigate, and started my space walk up. After a while, things finally started to get weird. At first, I was positioned going up towards the Anomaly from my frigate below it, but I slowly started rolling halfway so the frigate and my freighter were then up behind me and above me. It was trippy. I was still kinda under the Anomaly but I was also more in front of it. I was trying to boost forward more than and up but I soon realized the gravity field was huge like the freighter’s and I was not high enough above it to fall into it, so I ended up falling under it. I was tired from the long space walk, so I summoned my freighter under and in front of me and I was able to fall and land on one of my living frigates. Another wild ride. Since the environment is safe inside a living frigate’s gravity field, I just took a lil space nap on top. I didn’t get to space walk over the Anomaly just yet, but there’s always next time.
