I finally have the view from my freighter I’ve always wanted!

I finally have the view from my freighter I’ve always wanted!

I was able to use a combination of the cache glitch and the size glitch to get a giant biodome and multilevel platforms with stairs on the top of my freighter. This has completely transformed my freighter layout now.

Even though you cannot place a door on the biodome or power it, if you place, a short-range teleporter on an exterior platform where you are going to place the dome, then you can cache-glitch build a dome over the teleporter and then connect it to a teleporter outside of the dome from the outside. Both the dome, and the teleporter are still powered by the freighter as long as they rest on a Freighter platform.

It’s important to remember that you must place the teleporter first and exactly where you want it to be before you build the dome. If you move the teleporter, while you are inside the dome, you are stuck and have to restore to your last save. For the less experienced, I highly recommend doing this on a sandbox or Creative mode save. I also recommend that, while constructing, you save before you go into the dome each time. If not, you risk losing your progress if you end up getting stuck inside the dome and have to restore.

Now I have a teleporter just inside from the bridge of the freighter that takes me up inside the Biodome.

And for those who do not know, you can use the cache glitch to put your exocraft on your freighter as well. If you have any questions about how to do glitch building, check out Beeblebum’s YouTube channel.

One player can really ruin the experience

So in the Anomaly if a player invites me to their group I usually join. Mainly to give them a chance to join me in my bases in whatever galaxy I happen to be in (in this instance my treehouse base in Odlayutai, as a lot of players like to get there).

Sure enough ten minutes later “georgeACE123” a PS player enters the system, and heads towards my planet. Rather than say hello, the pr**k starts shooting, then leaves a comm ball in space where it can’t be reported. Both easily fixed as I have PvP off and blocking him through PlayStation removes the unsightly comm ball.

But honestly, why?

What the hell do people get out of being like this?

Guess I’ll be ignoring all invites from now on.

Even though I can’t, and won’t see him, it’s annoying me he’s probably building a base in my system right now 😂

Plus I’ve always liked helping others out, taxying them to various galaxies or providing resources they need…… Now I’m running out of trust for random players 😔

So uh... The first free freighter....

So uh... The first free freighter....

It’s supposed to be an S-class right? 😅

I still haven’t clicked the claim button because I’m still sort of in shock. I went through the dog fight event, checked out the freighter and was a B-class, but I had to shut off the game. I didn’t realize it didn’t save. When I reverted the save and did it again, the RNG seemed to have blessed me with a S Capital ship after the single accidental save scum.

I haven’t been playing that long and don’t fully understand what I’m looking at as far as quality. How good is she as freighters go?
