is ATLAS a demiurge?

in the lore the atlas is just the ai of the machine that makes the in game universe, a machine that’s breaking down and “dying” very slowly in game but “irl” there is 16 minutes until the servers shut down (lore not really) so would the atlas be a demiurge that thinks it’s all there is and the most powerful entity and there is nothing above it or anything else? when in reality it had creators and isn’t the only entity in existence. and for those who don’t know the demiurge is a concept in gnostic christian sects that says the biblical god is actually an angry “corrupted” god that created the physical universe and thinks it’s the top entity and creator of all when it simply is unaware of its own creators? (it’s more complicated in the gnostic sects but still) moreover do you all like atlas? or view it as malevolent? benevolent? neutral? are you allies or against it? are sentinels good and the corrupted bad? or are they all “bad” the moral compass coming from the anomalies perspectives submitted by /u/roman525215 |
