Long story short, I’m starting fresh after I accidentally deleted my first save where I was doing really well at about 70 hours. I’m about 10 hours in on new save and still going through the story and this dude starts putting this stuff in my inventory. Luckily I didn’t have many free slots because he wanted to keep giving me more. I’m on xbox so couldn’t say anything, I just left the game. I was extremely tempted to sell half the AI parts because that would about cover what I lost in my deleted save – but I came to my senses and remembered the fun of the game for me is building mult way up. I have two best friends who stopped playing NMS for a really long time because of their job (I have a job too). I felt a little bit sad that time. After several days, I found out about the squadron feature. I’m like, okay, this is cool. I have starships to fight with me when doing pirate missions. Hours later, I thought maybe I could recruit a pilot who has the same ship as my bois. It’s so awesome when there’s a freighter battle or conflict; they will warp in then engage, I really feel like I’m fighting with them. Every so often, I even let them have the last hit. Sometimes when roaming in space, I’ll call my squadron to feel like I’m playing with them. We’re still active in chats though, and that’s why I’m not that sad.
