I always find it special when you’re the first discoverer of an Earth like paradise planet, set up a base & just sit there for a while just taking it all in. It’s nice to be there all on your own for a while before other explorers come along….

If anyone is interested, some systems spawn pirate freighters every time you warp in, seen all classes. Found 3 near each other in Euclid, one gek, one vykeen, one korvax so you can just hop between them till you find what you want. Saving and reloading not needed, they appear right in front of you. Take the engines out first so they can’t escape, then guns, shields generators, fuel rods, take your pick. When they surrender land on board and have a look, if you like it keep it, if not you can ransom it or destroy it for hefty rewards and just warp straight to the next. People frequently post this phenomenon of planets merging into each other… With 18 quintillion planets in the game, I presume there is a non-zero chance of a small planet being contained entirely inside a larger planet, and thus inaccessible?
Another question regarding merging planets: is it possible for a planet’s portal to be inside another planet? If so, what do you think would happen if you teleported there from another portal?
