I’ve been playing No Mans Sky for about 3 years and have appreciated every updated. The developers of this game truly listen to there players and provide what we want. All for free! I’ve seen a lot of suggestions made in the community that I wish would be present, for example customizable ships would be awesome. However, there are others that seem to be literally begging and complaining of this or that. They seem not to be satisfied with anything. Or they are happy for a month then beg for something else.
To these players I just want to say think of where the heck this game came from. The developers have given us so much when they really didn’t have to – and they continue to do so. Stop taking advantage of the goodness of our developers and just enjoy what they have done so far. There’s going to be a day where the updates slow down and then stop.
I enjoy the heck outa this game, but I’ve just been noticing a lot if complainers. And yes I know I am complaining in this post.

I have two best friends who stopped playing NMS for a really long time because of their job (I have a job too). I felt a little bit sad that time. After several days, I found out about the squadron feature. I’m like, okay, this is cool. I have starships to fight with me when doing pirate missions. Hours later, I thought maybe I could recruit a pilot who has the same ship as my bois. It’s so awesome when there’s a freighter battle or conflict; they will warp in then engage, I really feel like I’m fighting with them. Every so often, I even let them have the last hit. Sometimes when roaming in space, I’ll call my squadron to feel like I’m playing with them. We’re still active in chats though, and that’s why I’m not that sad.
