But if you look closely at the orange luminescent strips, the strobe effect consistently speeds up as the camera does. This tells me that the video was taken in a normal speed using their drone functionality (probably excruciating for whoever was controlling the camera lol) and then sped it up in post-production. They used the same technique in the NEXT trailer when showing off the frigates. This essentially eliminates the idea I’ve seen gaining prominence of this being a “main menu” of sorts — because they would’ve just programmed the camera to move at that speed to begin with.

I get that we all want different things, but this is just one cinematic glimpse. For HG to dedicate resources into crafting a structure this big, they need to have a really good reason.

Can we just take a moment to think how bloody amazing it is that Hello Games are still putting out free updates almost three years after release? No micro transactions, no season passes, no additional payment required whatsoever. That’s just amazing and I think many other developers/publishers should hang their head in shame.
