I have around 40hours in the game and accomplished many stuff but i still don’t have a base, I just think the first base needs to be on a perfect planet in a perfect system and that’s kinda difficult.
I want to know how and when at the point of your journey you started your first base so i can encourage myself to build one soon.

Grah! Grah! I’ve started to build a massive freighter base, I took a lot of ideas and inspiration from the community so I wanted to share some pictures of the first rooms I’ve made fully in survival. There’s so much more to come! Medical Bay (Equipement Storage Room) Medical Bay (Surgery and Intensive Care) All the corridors are heavily decorated to keep the ship busy Kitchen (it features its own food garden and storage rooms in the back) There will be some WC at every floor, bc why not Feel free to share your thoughts! :p I’m a fan of this heavily decorated designs, anyone has experience with building freighter bases with thousands of decorative parts ? I’m thinking about trying to play without a ship, basically doing a solo roleplay where I lost my ship for some reason. (Im probably gonna delete it on a save editor or just pretend I don’t have a ship anymore) I know the idea sounds tedious at first, and it probably will be, so I’d love ideas on how to make this experience interesting, for exameple: On which kind of system and planet should i try it? In which game mode? Any suggestions are helpful Obviously it will have to be on a planet where it is possible to find a crashed ship and repair it, also im gonna try on a planet where i can build a base + a vehicle. So… Thats all, thanks for any help 😀

So one of the most neglected thing in the game lorewise as well as content wise in general are the Biological Horrors. For something that seems to spread to every planet as well as escape into freighters effectively killing all life aboard, we don’t have all that much new content for them. My hopes (unbelievable wishful thinking) is that HG takes the time to expand on the biohorrors the same way they did sentinels. Imagine a world taken over by the Bio horrors! Buildings and such with eggs scattered around and slime fleshy webbing on everything. This can also be added to caves much like the xenomorph cave in Aliens. Caves don’t have a ton of use other than cobalt farming atm, so adding Bio Horror eggs at least gives more reason to go spelunking! Another idea would be fauna on Bio Horror consumed planets. Maybe add some new proc-gen into fauna build pools that have Bio Horror growths onto them! This seems like a good way to spice up fauna collecting and hunting. The final thing could be the Bio horrors themselves. It would be really cool to give these mobs some new enemy types. Obviously we would need a Bio Horror Queen! Maybe a larger Mantis as the second strongest then some smol Swarming exploding types. (I’m also begging HG to give us a new customization set that is being slowly growing Bio Horror webbing and flesh onto it. A fleshy cape would be sweet too!)
