Hey Travelers. I’ve repaired a crashed starship I found and all that’s left to fix are three “Corroded Tanks” with Activated Copper. So far I’ve been to three different yellow-star systems and have scanned all the planets but none say “Activated Copper” from space (several say just “Copper”). What further confuses me is that all of the “how to find” articles I’ve found online seem to confuse regular Copper with Activated Copper.

Is “Activated” Copper a separate thing? Will scanning a planet from space tell me if there is specifically Activated Copper on that planet? Any tips on finding it so I can get those storage slots cleared on my starship?

I’m a big fan of NMS. I’ve spent well over 100 hours playing it.

Currently I’m really enjoying playing Starfield. Even though it’s a space exploration and survival game sort of like NMS, they are 2 very different games.

How have other people found it?

Money and resources are rolling in. I have bases set up in almost every biome. I have a few pets. I’ve got an A class sentinel ship that I really like, an A class staff that I really like. I do the missions from space stations and autophage but there are really only a few quest. What are some goals you set for yourself?
