Just received it and appearance wise the socket is small, convenient and lightweight. I immediately plugged it in and it worked perfectly. The plug that goes into the socket was flat like I desired. This should be the standard for all cords. I ordered the smallest size length wise and it was perfect as well. There is a little blue light when you press the off switch which I kind of like because it teaches the kids to know when the light is turned off properly. It’s small enough to travel with and there’s an opportunity to hand it up using nails although I prefer to peel and sticks on the back for easier removal.
