Ship stuck in tree....me stuck on ground. ...and now a can't call my ship.... ugh!
What are my options? My ship and I landed in one of those giant giant mushroom trees. I exited my ship and fell to the ground. …. now I can’t summon my ship to me. Ugh! I’m now marooned on one of the ugliest planets I have ever seen!
What are my options. I guess if I have enough resources I might be able to build a portal….I hope. 🙁

I’m new to No Mans Sky and I loved it so much that I wanted to join the community! I’m playing on the Nintendo Switch on a custom difficulty. (Survival: except “standard” for on-foot combat and space combat) Raw materials became a headache early on while building and just surviving. I wanted a safe and easy way to get basic materials so I could focus on exploring and building. Copper, Pyrite and Oxygen mines provide basic building and survival materials. All resources for the 3 mines are sent to the main base and into the refining room where the 3 main silos are. The 3 mines produce about 55k units in a 15-16hr cycle time. It’s all been a nice source of income starting out too. I’ve played 120 hours in the first 3 weeks🤕 Thought I’d share a few photos of what I had so far. Just got back into the game after a break. Last time i got bored of it and maybe i am playing the game "wrong". (Ofc there is no real way of playing it wrong) but how do you explore planets? I usually land at some curiosity place or use a map…

Can I create a custom squadron from ships I would be scrapping otherwise?
So here’s what I was thinking. You can hire an NPC to your squadron from any space station for example, right? Now what happens if BEFORE hiring them I buy their ship by swapping it with one of my ships that I would be scrapping otherwise? Will I get THAT ship to join my squadron?
Obviously it depends on the pilot too how well they will do in a fight, but this way I could have a squadron made up of Living Ships or fully equipped Sentinel Interceptors, right? Or, in theory I can claim the Starborn Runner as many times as I want if I’ve finished the expedition, can I just keep selling a Starborn Runner by swapping with them AND hire said pilot equipped with the Starborn Runner now? Can I have a full squadron of them?
I’ll test this out soon with a sentinel that I’d scrap otherwise and get back to you, but if this works I think it is huge, so much potential to create an amazing fight squadron this way!
