Can anyone explain this? I love space, i love NMS and I feel like im being melodramatic but its the reason i can’t play it in VR. Regular NMS (or any space game) is just about doable if i side-eye the screen a lot.
When i stop to look at a planet, i have this visceral feeling of fear and unease, seeing something that big in front of me. Or if i look up while on a planet and see another planet taking up my view, my legs go wobbly. If im using warp and see a planet slowly approaching, then whiz past me, same thing. Its like knowing that theres a huge distance between me and the planet(but having no visual cues like we have on the ground), is doing something to my ape brain that it doesn’t appriciate.
Strange feeling.

Been gone for a while decided to try the updates again, Normal was too easy so I went to hardcore. Thanks anonymous benefactor, made my weekend I was having a rough one. Special shout-out to the Outlaws update and laundering suspicious packets into nanites. I’m a little miffed I can’t overclock my stats anymore, but with equipment like this I’m not too mad 😆.
