As the title states.

Recently after having my same S class Freighter for the longest time, I decided to start on another so I went freighter hunting.

My previous had wonky random supercharge slot locations, none next to each other, and this bugged me since I assumed I wasn’t getting my full potential out of them.

So my new freighter I decided I’d go for a certain look and I’d keep looking until I got one with close supercharged slots to each other.

I finally found another S class of the style I wanted, and 3 of the 4 SC slots were side by side. Great!

Or was it? Using the same exact modules as my previous freighter, the light speed range is identical, to the tenth of a percentage point.

All my previous freighter SC slots were used for hyperdrive range, and this new one I’m doing the same thing. But the range is identical.

This leads me to believe that freighters do not receive adjacency bonuses for supercharge slots, since I’m getting the same range regardless of the SC slot placement.

Just FYI, if you’re grinding for a capital freighter with adjacent supercharge slots, you might be wasting your time.
