Inverted Mirror farming

For anybody who may not know this, the quickest way I've found to farm Inverted Mirrors is to go to a Dissonant planet in a Black Market system and cruise around blasting Dissonance Generators from a starship. Interceptors work best because they can hover in place and shoot at them. No Sentinel Interceptors will respond to starship attacks on ground Corrupted Sentinels in a Black Market system, so you can blast away with total impunity. I try to pick a Dissonant planet with sparse ground cover and no vision obscuring storms so you can spot the Dissonance Generators more easily.

I'm a player since launch. 1000 hour save, done it all. I do not understand the anger at all.

I’ve put in 15 hours or so into this latest patch and I have to tell you, it’s mildly annoying at best. Certainly not worth all the hate and nonsense. Two major things were noticeable to me in this patch. My jetpack fuel was definitely nerfed into the dirt and my ships were all jacked up.

I fixed my exosuit slots and aside from the jetpack fuel it doesn’t feel any different to me. I like the fall damage breaking stuff, its a neat little survival thing they added. I think I can live without being able to almost jet pack into space anymore.

Once I got my main ship reorganized the only bummer is my warp range was cut in half. My damage output went from killing stuff in 4 seconds….to killing stuff in 10 seconds. Hardly a difference. The warp distance nerf might actually make me work on my freighter finally and use it for travel. Not that bad. Since I’ve been living in the same neighborhood for 2 years I’m okay with losing 1500 light years off my max.

Multi tools are crazy buffed now since you can basically outfit one with everything and as far as damage output goes…they still shred everything. Not seeing an issue there. On foot combat being half of the reason you even min max mods anyway has remained unchanged in my opinion.

Basically we got easily the craziest buff to inventory space since launch and all it cost was a bit of jetpack fuel and warp distance….is that really worth all this anger? Also I’ve been here since launch and I see this as a new beginning. I think it’s easy to assume an overhaul on upgrades is probably in the works. Give it a minute. Geez.

Dogfighting feels more difficult these days...

OK, so I’ve ahd this game since release and have come back from time to time, but I always felt like the dogfighting was quite easy. All I do is reverse and shoot my photon cannon or phase beam, and finish them off with rocket launchers.
But, now I’m a bit worried. I’ve started playing a bit again and in every of the last couple of sessions I’ve been attacked by pirates or the like and they kill me with ease…
Then my ship is broken and I can’t repair a modules fully until I get attacked again.

Like I said, this wasn’t an issue before, I murdered before, but now it seems like enemies are much more difficult…

Any ideas?

Runaway Mould Theft!

Stupid question: If I stumble across someone’s base and take their runaway mould, if they were to show up 5 minutes later, can they still harvest what should be there, or have I forced them to wait for it to respawn?

I ask because while checking out someone’s base I saw that they had a healthy collection of mould balls, but I don’t want to take what’s theirs if that means they get screwed.

Thanks.
