What do u think about NMS? Any reviews? no spoilers.

So i just recently bought NMS and havent start the game due to work. I just want others opinion on the game itself. How was it? Was it story oriented like subnautica or more like sandbox game like minecraft. I heard some saying that the game is huge yet boring, how true is that? Ive played subnautica before and yes i really love how the story turns out and its not that complicated in terms of navigating the UI, building based, exploring etc
