How to make 240m units per day (actually per 16 hours) with Stasis Devices

This is not quite as easy as just putting down mass Activated Indium miners, but I find it a lot of fun to set up 🙂

You will need…

Production Blueprints:
Glass, Lubricant, Poly-Fibre, Heat Capacitor, Living Glass, Circuit Board, Grantine, Frostwart, Gamma Weed, Gutrot Flower, Star Bramble, Echinocactus, Solar Vine, Nitrogen Salt, Enriched Carbon, Thermic Condensate, Hot Ice, Cryopump, Cryogenic Chamber, Semiconductor, Superconductor, Quantum Processor, Iridesite, Stasis Device.

Blueprints can be found in Manufacturing Facilities and Operations Centres, some can be acquired through quests, or purchased from the Anomaly Synthesis Laboratory with nanites.

Satellite bases:
Oxygen Mine: 8000+
Nitrogen Mine: 8000+ (Toxic and Lush planets)
Radon Mine: 8000+ (Radioactive and Frozen planets)
Sulphurine Mine: 8000+ (Scorched and Desert planets)
Dioxite Mine: OPTIONAL

Main Base:
Electromagnetic Hotspot (you need lots of power)
29 Biodomes

A trade source for the following two advanced materials: Magno-Gold, Aronium

A trade/mine source for the following materials: Dioxite

Medium/Large refiner(s).

Setup

For the satelite bases, you need to find the right gas hotspot, one for each of the three exotic gasses, and one for oxygen. If there is an electromagnetic hotspot nearby, good, but it is by no means needed.

I use this setup for each satellite base:
1 Base Teleporter
10 Solar Panels
5 Batteries
4 Gas Extractors
8 Supply Depots

For the main base, you need enough electricity from the hotspot (multiple Electromagnetic Generators), and 29 Biodomes. In those biodomes, you plant:
96 Frostwart (6 domes)
128 Gamma Weed (8 domes)
32 Gutrot Flower (2 domes)
128 Star Bramble (8 domes)
16 Echinocactus (1 dome)
64 Solar Vine (4 domes)

Aronium and Magno-Gold you can find either in space stations, or in Trade Stations on planets. They can also be produced manually, but it is far easier to just buy them. Jump between new 3* systems until you've found them, then remember the stations. You can usually buy 120+ which is enough for 7+ production runs.

Grantine can not be found in trade (at least I've never found it), so has to be produced from Dioxite and Ionised Cobalt in a refiner. You need 800 of each for 16 Stasis Devices. Both can also be found in trade, and Dioxite mined on Frozen planets. I usually produce a big batch of Grantine at a time.

The following refiner recipe helps make Ionised Cobalt:
1 Ionised Cobalt + 2 Oxygen = 6 Ionised Cobalt

You also need this recipe to make Condensed Carbon (you need 4800 per production run):
1 Condensed Carbon + 2 Oxygen = 6 Condensed Carbon

These two recipes is why we need the Oxygen mine. They provide unlimited Ionised Cobalt and Condensed Carbon as long as you have Oxygen enough.

Production Run

Harvest all the plants, have 16 Aronium, Magno-Gold and Grantine (acquired as described above), 8000 of each exotic gas from the exotic gas satellite bases, and 4800 Condensed Carbon (using the above recipe).

Then you can produce, in this order:
80 Glass
16 Lubricant
16 Living Glass
16 Polyfibre
16 Heat Capacitor
16 Circuit Board
32 Nitrogen Salt
32 Enriched Carbon
32 Thermic Condensate
16 Hot Ice
16 Cryopump
16 Cryogenic Chamber
16 Semiconductor
16 Superconductor
16 Quantum Processor
16 Iridesite
16 Stasis Device

Those 16 Stasis Devices sell for around 240m units 🙂

Underground Base Build

Underground Base Build

Piscu-Duca Outpost, Euclid

Been wanting to post this base for eons. It’s my virtual pride and joy. Probably 5 years old so far (I seriously wish there was a way we could see how much time has been invested in a base). I don’t play nearly as often as I used to but random inspiration will strike out of the blue and I’ll lose 3 hours to adding new sections, areas, etc. I can’t imagine ever being finished. Oh! This base predates the new base parts. It was probably half the size when the parts were updated and if you look hard enough, I’m sure you could find a few of the old wooden pieces somewhere. As hard as I worked, I’m sure I missed a swap somewhere.

At my base you’ll find:

  • 8500+ part build
  • No glitch, though a fair amount of overlap
  • Over 60% underground and in preexisting caves
  • Base staff apartments (Scientist, Exocraft tech, and Weapons tech spaces are finished. Overseer’s spot isn’t. The botanist lives on my freighter, though he does have a carbon lab on base)
  • Hidden apartment accesses
  • “Secret” trophy room
  • Above ground Conservatory, access via underground pathing though
  • Underground farming
  • Underground Exocraft garage
  • 2 underground condos
  • Chill planet, though toxic, very green\grey, and otherwise pretty drab. Used to have ancient bones but the reset a few years ago took away that perk.
  • Nearly all wooden construction
  • Solar farm
  • And more…

Do pay me a visit and let me know what you think. I’m sure there’s another 8000 base parts worth of ideas left to be pulled out of this place.

NMS and Starfield comparisons...why? They are different games with different focus.

Starfield is an single player story based RPG that happens to be in space.

NMS is a sandbox. The two aren’t even on the same playing field, so why compare as if they are are the same?

I like both of them for different reasons. I don’t understand why one has to be elevated over the other, when they are different experiences and play styles. Why can’t we simply like what we like?

Question to "Collected Knowledge"

Sorry for the repost of this question, but nobody answered so far. Maybe because nobody could help, or the question went down to fast thru the week in the sub. Hopefully during the weekend are more travelers online here and could help please!

Hello travelers. I’m trying to access all the stories I’ve learned in the “Collected Knowledge” section under “Catalogue & Guides” in my oldest game save. Unfortunately, it’s not entirely clear to me where I might be missing points and I’m hoping for your support. Yes, I know there are a lot of submenus there. In an older post here in the forum, I read that you have supposedly completed a category when “three dots” are displayed at the end of a submenu. So far so good. I don’t know whether this really applies to every submenu. Can anybody confirm this? I’ve been playing this save for about 4k hours now and still playing.Long before the “Catalogue & Guides” category was integrated into the game. In a few submenus, such as “Atlas Interface”, I have definitely played through the game story, but I don’t see three dots at the end in the catalog story. Maybe it’s a bug since it’s an old saved game, maybe not. So far I can’t find three dots in the submenus for the “Planetary Archive” entries at Gek’s, Vy’keen and Korvax. With “Ancient Plaque” it does. And I have visited countless archives. Likewise in the “other history” menu under “derelict freighter”. No three dots, if they are shown at the end and i visited countless derelict freighter and collected crew board and captains log. Could someone please tell me if there are three dots in his “Planetary Archive” submenu and if so, how many story entries he has there? The same question goes into the “Derelict Freighter” section. I hope for your support. Safe travels to all.

Freighter Spawn Help

I know you need to have 3 in game hours and jump 5x to trigger a space battle. (I have 76hrs) Why won’t one spawn? What are the pre requisites? (E.g. active missions/inactive missions/bugs) I can’t get one to spawn at all. I don’t know what I’m doing…
