Automatic lights

This is a really simple build tip to automate lighting (in this case on my landing pad and patio). All you need is a singular solar panel (or more if necessary but that would be a lot of lights 😂). Build a power inverter switch. Connect the input of the power inverter to your main power supply and the output to the light array you want to be automated. Now connect the solar panel to the control socket of the power inverter. Now when it’s dark your lights will be lit and when the sun comes up they’ll switch off automatically. submitted by /u/ParChadders |
