Sometimes I’ll get inspiration from a post from here and go to build something similar…. Just to get overwhelmed and confused and everything coming out flat and uninspired.
What are some things you do to really make a feature or build POP?

Good afternoon, interlopers. Today kicks off our community build event for May, the Tiny House Challenge. We invite everyone to participate and have fun creating your own Tiny House on a Beautiful color changing, Paradise planet we’ve begun to populate, and colonize, or just stop by and check out some very creative tiny homes created by other players. You may find some inspiration to add to your own builds, or New friends to explore the universe with. As usual we ask that you respect other players space, and builds by Not building too close to another players base, and Don’t leave comm. Balls(space trash). Be creative and Have fun. This took a week of searching in Calypso, visiting nearly 100 star systems in all before I found it. This planet has just about everything wrong with it:
The only thing it’s really missing is extreme terrain. And possibly a visual glitch. But, overall, I am pleased with it. There is literally no reason to come to here except to leave and never return. Maybe just to look around and say, “Yup. This place sucks”. Because it does. I am thinking of building a home here. It is kinda beautiful in its own right, though. The zebra striping on the infested elements is a nice touch that I don’t see often, so I suppose things could be just a smidgen more terrible on that front, too. It has been over 7 years since we first picked up the game together. We traveled thousands of light-years and saw many beautiful and dangerous worlds. We became rich. We became powerful. We became brothers. The last 7 months of traveling through the cosmos alone has been empty. You weren’t just a fellow traveler. You were my best friend. I will never stop exploring and seeking new discoveries but I would trade everything we gained to have you back for just a moment. I miss you Trent. You were my brother. All I can hope is that this is simply the end of this iteration and that you’ll be able to see the wonders of the universe first hand without the need for a screen. I love you and I miss you my friend. Rest in peace.

I’ve been playing awhile and am way past the mission that we find the portal, the dead traveler, but I’m trying my first living ship, got the glyphs, and now I cannot find a portal to enter the planet it needs…. Cool humans, please help.

Nothing more frustrating than teleporting into a base for, say some quick Mould, and having to fly to space, dock with the station, and teleport back home.
If folks would add a reactor just in case things go south on their power supply, I have zero problem fueling the reactor with some Carbon while I’m there
I just thought about this because I’m on one of the planets with every glyph, and I keep running into bases with no power. I’ll hook ya up, it’s only fair. 😁
