Unification Day is a semi-fan-made, semi-canon holiday based in the No Man’s Sky simulation.

Groups of similar minds, unable to meet but attempting to find one another, to claim worlds across time and space. Once a year their various alliances, federations, hubs, and empires united to remember all that they were, and could become in time…

This year, Unification Day is being organized by the Galactic Hub. That doesn’t mean it’s being hosted in our space, that just means I’m the one who is responsible for compiling the schedule and reaching out to participants.

So that’s what I’m doing! If you’re a member of a civilization, and you have any bases which would be suitable for hosting a Unification Day activity (minigame, PVP, racing, etc), let me know! I’ll also send you an invite to the Unification Day Council planning server.

Hi everyone.

back into one of my fav games again. I missed the last 2 or 3 Updates and spend the last 2 days hunting sentinel ships and Multitools, farming Salvaged Frigate Modules and even set up a little Runaway Mold Farm on a corrupted planet.
Great new content! Loving it.

Sentinel Ship? Check. Nanites for getting it to S Class + Upgrading my 2 new Multitools? Nada.
Runaway Mold Farm Set up, gives roughly 2000 Nanites per reset.

Also, i realised i wasnt informed well enough to know when to take X over S Modules and what the general performance of either are. I dont like having my phone around when playing, so i made a spreadsheet to compare, maybe somebody else might use it too 🙂

Ps: feel free to fix the data or give me feedback! I’ve already found X-Class Upgrades that have values that shouldnt be possible according to the wiki.

Hi everyone,
I saw a post on here a couple weeks back asking about learning the languages, and the number of ‘???’ ones not seeming to go down. I figured I would spend a bit of time no-lifing this, and learn the complete languages of the 3 alien races. After a couple of nights of just running around paradise planets, taking my exocraft between Trading Posts, Archive buildings and alien monoliths, I now have them fully learned, and have discovered the following things-

1. While you are learning the languages, you will always have 32 ‘blanks’ (???). This number only starts to go down once you have less than 32 words to learn. This is a full ‘page’ of words.
2. The counts in the Guide and on the wiki are wrong. I don’t know if more words were added in updates or something, but there are about 200 extra per language.
3. Even after learning all words and getting to the point where Knowledge Stones give you the ‘Learned Nothing New’ message, conversations with aliens will still sometimes have words that you have not learned, and cannot learn.
4. While using Knowledge Stones, they go in ‘cycles’ through the alphabet, A-Z. The final word of each language is ‘video’.
5. Mystery Words are by far the most numerous. If more words have been added in later updates, it seems like they all fall under this category. When I was learning Vy’keen, I ran out of all other categories of words and still got a couple of hundred Mystery Words from alien NPCs.

Here are the updated Word Counts:

Gek- Guide says 784, but I found a total of 982.

Vy’keen- Guide says 802, but I found a total of 996.

Korvax- Guide says 776, but I found a total of 982.

I have not yet completed the Atlas words.

Anyway, thought this might help anyone trying to complete their alien vocabularies!
