Just found my second home planet in Euclid. I’m building a portal base and others are welcome. Beautiful! No storms or sentinels. Named it Hawaii Enjoy! submitted by /u/ExplanationCrafty156 [link] [comments]

I’m having sentinels wander around and follow me even on planets with low sentinel activity. Is it possible to get planets that have ZERO sentinels so I can build and farm in peace?

Following the advice and having watched Beeblebum’s video on building low orbit bases, I have managed to successfully start a build of such a base. The limited time I had today, was mostly spent on building the tower from walls (using the wall / stairs method). The steps from the guide worked like a charm, and I managed to get a tiny base orbiting a dead planet (wanted a planet with no atmosphere). Now I need to figure out what I want to build and plan it. For now my micro orbital looks like this (see attached screenshot). submitted by /u/Gumochlon |

Something like 425 hours in, I’ve been mostly just exploring and finding crashed ships, building bases, etc…
I finally felt I was ready to try and take on a Sentinel Cruiser, got my squadron built, and took one out. I got a message about a Harmonic signal, and figured that something special was going on. Nope, it took me to a Sentinel ship, and I restored it like normal. Been flying around for awhile, even engaged the Pulse Drive. There seems to be no more mission beyond restoring the ship. SO I would say that was a relatively early mission. Otherwise, I find no mission tied to the ship, and no messages came up while under the Pulse Drive. I really did just get a lesson in how to restore a Sentinel ship over 400 hours in. 🙂
Shows just how wonderful all of the non-mission stuff in this game is.

Probably the weakest sentinel ship I found yet. At 99 he’s has little to no damage output. My first sentinel ship had 254 as it’s damage output. He looks like a cross between a Manta Ray and Spider and sometimes he looks like he’s conflicted with thought. But really? How could I put the cutest little frustrated ship into a battle? submitted by /u/Zero_083 |

I can’t for the life of me light up this base I’ve been working on. Do I just need to lock in and add a bunch more lights or am I missing somthing? submitted by /u/Jellyflopter |
