40 hours in … and I still haven’t left my starting planet!
and I swear that this planet doesn't want me to leave … First, it's gorgeous, this is literally my first ever NMS screenshot, 5 minutes in: Then, it's a billion units planet. it's got thousands of caves and each one is full of Albumen Peas (that sell for 5k each), this was my inventory as was preparing to leave for the first time: But then it kept giving me even more valuable resources like chlorine and glowing crystals and, each time I'm about to leave, I find something even more valuable/interesting. In the first few hours I found:
But that's not all, as I was finally about to leave for good, I got a quest to raid 5 resource depots …. as I was on my way to my latest sentinel pillar! So I deactivated the sentinels and got into a frenzy of roaming the world frantically to raid everything that I could find that would otherwise have been protected by sentinels … so in the span of an hour I found:
I was still in the middle of raiding without sentinels when I ended my last session but now my inventory and 25 slots shuttle are filled with rare minerals (that sells for anything from 25k to 100k a pop) and I went from a meager 65k unit to more than 10 millions … which I'll probably have to spend on a hauler to get all that loot out there…. that's if I ever end up leaving the planet. Still, I'm wondering, are all planets that rich or did I get a super lucky start? submitted by /u/undernier |
