Chances of coming across your old base?
Bit of a weird question, but it’s been on my mind since I picked this game back up. I started originally on PS4, put it down for a long time, and then started playing on PC/Deck. While I have a far better understanding of the game now, the base I had on the PS4 was honestly my favorite. Two big biodomes, a huge garage complex for my ship and exocraft, a warehouse for storing my stuff, and all that on an absolutely gorgeous paradise planet that looked amazing during nighttime…
Which got me thinking about the chances of possibly running into that planet and the base. Which then got me thinking about others who might have gotten lucky and come across their old bases in different playthroughs.
Basically: What exactly are my chances of possibly finding the system that contained my old base (which was uploaded while online), and has anyone gotten lucky and done exactly that with one of their old bases?

Best stats from X-class and Sentinel mods

So I spent the weekend rerolling x-class and sentinel upgrades more than 125 times across 14 different mods for exosuit, ships and multitools. My results are in the pictures. Bolded number sets are upgrades I find desirable, which isn’t every single top tier stat roll because upgrades for some mods have potential to boost more different stats than one single upgrade will affect (like jetpacks; 6 different possible stats, only 4 actually get boosted, at most). Notice how the same iteration will give top tier stats for most different upgrades. That means t8yhat the most effective way to get top tier upgrades is to install 50 or 60 upgrades, find which iterations roll these top-class numbers, then restart, burn c-class upgrades until you reach that iteration, save, then try all your different upgrades to see which gives you the stats you like best. Once you choose, you can move on to the next iteration you’ve found and try them all again. (Obviously the real reason I’m posting though, is just fishing for accolades on my 120×30 cell, handwritten spreadsheeting skillzsss…) submitted by /u/Hybrid072 |

Am I the only one who hopes they release more Exotic Ships in the wild instead of through some other...
I absolutely love hunting for Exotic Ships and especially the Squid Ship in the wild; watching out to see if one appears. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely LOVE the Living Ship and the Outlaw/Pirate Ships with their Solar Sails but I’d love to find some more exotic ones out in the wild – I was thinking what if they introduced “Anomaly Ships” or ships themed after glitched biomes?

How do people make their freighters travel thousands of light years?
