I’m relatively new to this game (if 80 hours can be considered new), most of my time has been spent just messing around exploring – you know how it is. I have little story to tell.

Honestly haven’t had the best day today, went to a badminton tournament and felt pretty rough, didn’t play well etc. so as any sane person would do, I hopped on no mans sky when I got home.

Wasn’t expecting much, just looking to lose myself in space and found myself in the anomaly and completely out of the blue came a player by the name of “Craftyblock#2284 the undying”, didn’t say anything or invite me to a party but he gifted me 2 void Eggs. I thought there must be a mistake so I sent them back, he then proceeded to send me them back along with 10 others! TWELVE TOTAL! This might not seem like a lot to many but I don’t know the value and that wasn’t what mattered to me personally.

I had barely anything in return but I’d just completed a nexus mission so I handed over all my ancient bones as some form of “payment” if you can even call it that. He then continued to gift me stuff: an AI dreadnought fragment, 50 suspicious packets of tech and items worth 12 million units! I tried to invite him to my party but he didn’t accept, he simply said Yes! To my Thank you and left.

I don’t know if you are out there my friend but just know you made a man’s day, I don’t care about the items personally but the simple kind gesture made me go from having a pretty rough weekend to a much more wholesome one. As someone who has come across from the rocket league community (if ykyk lol) this made me realise just how good this community is. Nothing more frustrating than teleporting into a base for, say some quick Mould, and having to fly to space, dock with the station, and teleport back home.

If folks would add a reactor just in case things go south on their power supply, I have zero problem fueling the reactor with some Carbon while I’m there

I just thought about this because I’m on one of the planets with every glyph, and I keep running into bases with no power. I’ll hook ya up, it’s only fair. 😁
