One of my ships crew has a problem.

One of my ships crew has a problem.

So expeditions have those neat little logs, right? Quite a few of them are funny, and give a bit of a story too the ships your sending off Atlas-knows where. Mine?

Note the planet name!

Mine decide to accidently ingest fruit that turns you into what my parents were afraid of any time any time I had coffee as a child. After they did this they decided that was not enough, however…

They then decided to go on a small rampage, keep in mind that this is an exploration vessel. "Well at least it was a happy accident?"
I had no idea what my crew had become.

Ok, next day, new expedition, new discoveries!

… -New mishaps. "Oh, well I guess that will teach you not too try random fruits on a random planet again." The rest of the expedition went normally but…

They found another planet too get their high from. I can only assume this was intentional.

Somehow they managed too find more. I cant tell if this is an ingredient in GrahGrah or not, but if it isnt it should never be. I believe addiction has settled into my crew and quite frankly I have no idea what they will do next, and I am frankly afraid of them. I have deemed that they need too be rehabilitated, but I fear it is likely too late for them.

Fun fact, after the first expedition the crew mood was \"Bloodthirsty\"

Is the Atlas Path repeatable? Minor confusion.

I have completed the Artemis story line, and the Atlas Path.

I have reseted the universe and installed the Star Seed and Remembrance techs.

Now I have 3 main quest:

  • New beginnings – (A new galaxy awaits…): If I am correct, basically this is the ending, where you can explore and do whatever you like.
  • The space anomaly – (Explore the new reality): I think it is the same as the New beginning. The anomaly’s ending.
  • The Atlas Path – (Find the next Atlas Interface): And this is the cause of my confusion. I thought the Atlas Path ends with reseting the universe. If I go to the Atlas Interface, it requires another Heart of the Sun.

So my question is: Should I craft another Heart of the Sun to finally complete the Atlas Path or is it a repeatable quest and I should ignore it?

Let me map planets

I wish the planets had an actual map in the discovery screen, where you could see each waypoint discovered and spin the globe. I feel like it would very simply add a lot of depth to a shallow experience So many things they could flesh out in this game…

Play past expeditions today(only on pc, sorry console people)

One question that I’ve seen asked quite often is if it is possible to play past expeditions, and people usually answer that aside from the four redux expeditions at the end of the year, you can’t, officially, that is the only way. However, there is a very easy and safe workaround that allows you to play any expedition at any time.

The data of all the past expeditions is still in the game, but these expeditions can no longer be accessed. However, there’s a file named SEASON_DATA_CACHE.json that controls the start and end dates of the expeditions, the milestones, the rewards, and a bit more. By editing this file, you can make these expeditions playable again without messing with the actual game files or your save file. JSON files are a bit hard to read and understand at first, but someone on github has already modified the file for all past expeditions, even accounting for the inventory system change in the Waypoint update. It’s literally just drag and drop; just make sure to read the readme files first, there’s a very good tutorial and notes about the expeditions, like bugs and possible workarounds.
