Hello!

I’m new to the game, not an ace pilot and my starship is a potato. When I do my 5th warp and I encounter the pirates attacking a frigate, I am able to clear the pirates. However, around the time the pirates are cleared, two sentinel interceptors warp in, and the fights go on and on.

What should I do here? Is there a way to defeat the pirates and not trigger the sentinels? Ideally I’d like to be able to claim the freighter after fending off the pirates, which I think is what’s supposed to happen?

I don’t know about you but it really annoys me when I’m on foot and when I open my inventory it defaults to my ship’s inventory. My ship could be at the other side of the planet and it will still default to its inventory, I can’t even use it when I’m walking a fair distance.

I’d much prefer it if when on foot it would open your Exosuit inventory, when in your ship open the ships inventory and when on the freighter open its inventory.

I was working on the Autophage quest line this morning, and landed on my freighter for something (don’t recall exactly what), and seeing the Vy’keen standing around in the hangar got me thinking about how interesting it would be if HG were to develop the Autophage even further. Imagine if some Abandoned stations could be restored by Autophage, making them the dominant life form in the system. Then imagine a new kind of starship, pieced together from bits and pieces of other ship types, and these would be what Autophage pilots would fly. Autophage freighters (with Autophage crew) would be rebuilt crashed freighters. Maybe we even have to do a quest line to help them restore it…
