So far the fastest way to get nanites that I have tried
Needed nanites to unlock tech to build a money makin farm. Tried out scrapping ships at a space station to farm nanites, got about 10,000 nanites in under an hour and only burned through about 20-30mil units total when reselling the scrap parts. In comparison I tried mining Atlantideum with my ship to refine it into Pungeum and then nanites, only got about 800 nanites in an hour or so of work. Only downside to scrapping is obviously burning through millions of units but if youre using the nanites to make more units later on it is more than worth it. More units=more nanites=more units and so on. Got lucky and got some super high value loot from frigate missions worth about 150mil in order to do this so it takes time and luck to even get to this point for the average player.
