Decided to do my first serious build. Spent 6 hours on it today. I have a welcome center (green lights), greenhouse (pink lights), the start to my main building, and an animal pen located in the open area below the landing pads. submitted by /u/usm0506 |
I’ve played NMS for about 200hrs now (rookie compared to some), and I really enjoy the game. I’ve convinced my missus to play along on the PS5 version, and we’ve realized how multiplayer isn’t really that great, nor is base building.
I would LOVE to see HG focus on an update that is centered around the multiplayer and base-building aspects. I know NMS isn’t really about any of those two, but it has sooo much potential with both of those. I think it could be absolutely amazing if multiplayer and base building could be improved.

15 hours into the game and startd Utopia. Got stuck on the worm planet (4th i think) no launch fuel, no health, terrain manipulator gone, killed several times god knows where and didn’t know about graves. I was absolutely loving it up till then and did…

So they recently added 🇺🇸 cookies / 🇬🇧 biscuits to the game, which means Hello Games is adding new cooking recipes in their updates.
Anyways, to the point. There’s bread, with can be made by processing Dough in the Nutrient Processor. And that’s it. Dead end in the crafting tree. Which kinda surprised me a little, considering the various other types of food items that exist in the game.
I propose the category… Assemble Sandwich! At the moment I don’t have ideas for prices and consumption bonuses, but I have a few recipe ideas: – Mystery Melt: Processed Meat or Smoked Meat + Tangy Cheese + Bread – Proto-Panino: Processed Meat or Smoked Meat + ProtoCheese + Bread – Egg Salad Sandwich: Creature Egg (etc) + Steamed Vegetables + Bread – Eerie Sandwich: Larval Core + Steamed Vegetables + Bread – Starlit Sandwich: Silicon Egg + Steamed Vegetables + Bread
If anyone has any ideas for prices, consumption bonuses, or other recipes, feel free to share!
