S-Class ships: Do they still spawn with max slots or not?
So I’ve been camped out at a trade outpost for a bit hunting for two specific S-class solar ships. No problem getting them. However, what I have noticed is that every S-class ship that spawn here, regardless of type (hauler, fighter, explorer, solar, etc.) always spawn with the lowest slots available for their type. For instance, the lower class solars will consistently spawn with 28+16 or 28+18, etc., while the S-class will always spawn with exactly 25+14. This was observed over a long period of time with many S-classes of different types. Same with the fighters and explorers. So, is this like, an S-class “penalty” specific for this system? Stat boosts but minimum slots? Has anyone else observed this? This has not been my experience so far with S-classes so just thought that it was peculiar.
