Anomaly space walk experiment; Day 2. So I repositioned my freighter slightly above the Anomaly this time and tried again. I boosted off a frigate and began my journey. Once you get close enough, the size and scale of it is wild. Finally I was high enough above it so once I entered it’s gravity field I was able to fall down onto the top of it. I did it. I successfully space walked on top of the Anomaly and down the side to the door. It does have a gravity field like asteroids where you stop floating up and can just float stationary in place. You can actually go down the side while close enough to it’s surface until you get to the halfway point and then you just start falling until you exit it’s gravity field. Since Nada and Polo wouldn’t let me in without my starship (kinda messed up to me), I just kept exploring around it until I found the halfway point and began to fall. Once I was falling down under it, I called my freighter to come around under me and I was able to land on it. What a trip. Just another day in the office.
