This Game Is Pokemon But For Starships


New player here. My week off from college has been consumed by ship hunting. I've been riding the Sentinel gravy train lately but also appreciate the classic beauties from time to time.

The variety of ships, classes,stats and quality levels remind me of Pokemon lol.

Gotta salvage them all!

So has anyone else upgraded a ship to be so fast that it almost breaks the game?

Well I finally did it. Last night I found an extremely well rolled sentinel interceptor so I went all out and duplicated all of my best pulse engine mods and put them all on the super charged slots. Mind you these are just S-class mods and not X-class and I’m playing on Series X which is no slouch when it comes to performance. 3 super charged pulse drive mods and one super charged sublight amplifier. My ship is so fast it now breaks the games ability to load properly. It seems that extremely fast speeds somehow breaks the engines ability to properly load assets. For example if I pulse drive to a planet my ship can make it from the top of the atmosphere to ground level in only a few seconds but for some reason my console will now spend the next two minutes before it finally loads the blank terrain beneath me. Having a slower ship doesn’t create the same problem for some reason. I could imagine that installing well rolled X-class mods would make this problem even worse. I guess the moral of this story is that speed is only good up until your system craps out on being able to load the game properly at which point the wait time for loading offsets the time you saved traveling. Its funny that I have now had to downgrade my ship somewhat so it doesn’t break the game so badly.

If you get stuff from me it's not duped

So just a heads up… I’ve been here for a very long time and often give stuff to seemingly new players in Anomaly. I watch for folks to show up in new save ships and wander around in there, basically. Then I share rare foods, items that give a good boost for nanites or units, hard to find artifacts and etc.

These are not duplicated items. These are just things I share because it doesn’t matter to me but it can be incredibly interesting or useful for new players.

Got some message about giving a few artifacts and some foods to someone yesterday and it seemed like they thought I was hacking the game. Just want to clarify if bongking81 from PSN gives you something it’s something I’ve just been stockpiling for years not something I glitched into existence 🏴‍☠️🙃

Does anyone else view Pilgrim's Tonic as alcoholic?

I’ve spent many years making the stuff on my homesteads. I always kind of like to think of it like I’m making a fine wine from my vineyard. It’d certainly fill a gap in the big gap of potential consumables in the game since it doesn’t seem like we’ll ever get sandwiches, burgers, or beer… Hell pizza should be in the game. Anyway, wanted to see other traveller’s views of the drink in their playthroughs.

Credits Cap Ideas

Are there any new worthwhile ways to get the max credits back down by purchasing items? I’m finally at the cap and find that not being able to sell items is a downer.

I’ve thought of buying ships to scrap but that seems wasteful. I could imagine it as a business loss in game though.

I wish we could donate items to some kind of product slot machine or massive project. I stopped selling my lucrative items a long while ago to postpone this issue.
