Dunno if it’s allowed, this looks and sounds like No Man’s Sky to me

I just realized that. Basically, I just noticed how I wasn’t even playing the main quest – I’m here building my base, growing my settlement. Upgrading stuff, having new plans of a thing I wanna build… Friends come and go from my world to theirs, meaning that I sometimes play with friends, sometimes alone. It’s one of these games I can just hop in, relax, and leave whenever I can. It’s a soothing game, that I’m playing as (almost entirely) sandbox.
It’s a feeling I had for minecraft ten years ago. Enjoying the sandbox, building stuff and going on adventures, with friends hoping on and off the server. I sometimes restarted minecraft, but never found this feeling back nowadays. And here I am, fifty hours in my No Man’s Sky main save (not counting expeditions) and I just realized that this is how I’m playing the game. With that good old feeling.
It’s a nice game.

Honest player: How do I get (insert difficult item to get)?
ENTIRE COMMUNITY: I can just give you a stack and you can duplicate it using one of many exploits!
Honest player: How do I do it without exploits?
That one guy that never talks: (wall of helpful text) unlocks the universe
Everyone else: (completely ignore the real advice to give more advice on different duplications)
Obviously it’s a joke. I love the community here and everyone has been extremely helpful at all times. I have tried my best to relay all of the information that I have learned. I was considering putting together an actual book on how to play this game because of all of the obscure knowledge you can’t even find on the internet. Maybe I will some day.

Since in this game, the species have mastered intergalactic travel and technology and you just gotta buy them and install the technologies to move forward.
Whereas, judging from the trailer, Light No Fire has the taming of species for travelling, primitive building types and so forth.
It looks awesome but I can’t help but think this is the beginning.

Probably the weakest sentinel ship I found yet. At 99 he’s has little to no damage output. My first sentinel ship had 254 as it’s damage output. He looks like a cross between a Manta Ray and Spider and sometimes he looks like he’s conflicted with thought. But really? How could I put the cutest little frustrated ship into a battle? submitted by /u/Zero_083 |
