Tried to do expedition for the first time, then I encountered another player.
I normally play NMS alone on a relaxed save so I'm not as used to the normal gameplay. I was enjoying completing tasks and such during the expedition until I got to rendezvous 3 and was walking around the portal. Someone waited in a minotaur for me to put in my glyph materials and then killed me. Once I respawned, I tried to attack with my boltcaster (stupid move, I know) and died again, losing my grave. I tunnel visioned and tried to take them down in my ship (again, stupid move) and it was shot down as well. Now I look at my completely empty inventory and just… don't feel like playing anymore. I know I made a series of stupid errors but it doesn't lessen the sting of seeing myself back to square one because someone decided they wanted to PVP rather than work together on an expedition.
