Sorry if I’m stupid and this is obvious
Super new player, just found an area with a reinforced door and it had a symbol of a gun over it. I researched the boltcaster and made it, thinking this was what the game was hinting at, but I unloaded multiple clips on the door and nothing happened? So I googled and found out you can shoot the door with your ship and here's my actual question….HOW?
How can I get my ship to be AIMED at the door if every time I breathe too deeply I start tumbling and spinning, ending up miles from where I was seconds ago? Do I just need to get a better ship? Is there a hotkey I'm missing? I don't have grenades yet and my ship, once launched, controls like a cat exploding out of a box someone was shaking violently.
I feel pretty bad that I traded resources to get a map to this place but if it's just not possible at this stage of playthrough I guess I'll just give up and start over. Any tips welcome but just know I already feel like an idiot.
