Feel like I’m treading water…

I've got about 70 hours in the game and feel like I'm in a rut, grinding for A/B class ships and upgrades, doing the same things over and over… running back and forth between trade posts, space station, base. It's getting repetitive and I'm kinda not having as much fun as I did to start.

I see players on Reddit with upgraded S class ships, freighters, etc having only put 100-150 hours in the game

I know there really is no wrong way to play the game but obviously I'm not doing it right, either

Any advice to get beyond this plateau I've reached?

Will we ever be able to cultivate foodstuff plants?

It always bothered me somewhat that we have these plants we can cultivate for the purpose of building or crafting further items (or making loads of money on the market in the case of NipNip buds), but the plants you want to gather from for ingredients remain wild and untamed.

It’d be nice to be able to set up a farm base proper or have a microfarm on a freighter for your heptaloid wheats or impulse beans…
