TIL you can claim your quicksilver purchases across saves?

So I made a new save for Omega expedition and after finishing it, I got tons of quicksilver which I went to spend.

After going to the vendor, I noticed that the ones I purchased on my main save were there to claim for free (it had available written next to them instead of the quicksilver cost).

I knew expedition awards could be claimed across saves but never know about regular quicksilver purchases.

Has it always been like this?

Favorite Nanite farming method

Idk who needs to hear this but pirate system farming is my favorite way to get 10’s of thousands of nanites pretty quickly. It’s not hard to net 50+k in an hour. You do need a Units bankroll but salvaging a couple Interceptors is more than enough to get started.

Any time I’m exploring the galaxy or searching for the coolest Interceptor in the universe I’ll stop at a pirate system every 3-5 warps to buy out the Suspicious Packet stock (tech and weaponry) and check out the local solar ships.

If I need a pile of nanites quickly to upgrade a ship or something I’ll hit up pirate systems back to back. I go to the station vendor and buy all the tech and weapon packets, and then go to one trade depot and buy them out too. Then warp to the next system and do it again. Once I have a stack or two of each packet I open them all up and sell them to an upgrade vendor.

One stack of 50 nets around 16-17k nanites. You can get a stack of each, tech and weaponry, in about 5-6 warps. It’s FREE REAL ESTATE!

Is the Atlas Path repeatable? Minor confusion.

I have completed the Artemis story line, and the Atlas Path.

I have reseted the universe and installed the Star Seed and Remembrance techs.

Now I have 3 main quest:

  • New beginnings – (A new galaxy awaits…): If I am correct, basically this is the ending, where you can explore and do whatever you like.
  • The space anomaly – (Explore the new reality): I think it is the same as the New beginning. The anomaly’s ending.
  • The Atlas Path – (Find the next Atlas Interface): And this is the cause of my confusion. I thought the Atlas Path ends with reseting the universe. If I go to the Atlas Interface, it requires another Heart of the Sun.

So my question is: Should I craft another Heart of the Sun to finally complete the Atlas Path or is it a repeatable quest and I should ignore it?

So has anyone else upgraded a ship to be so fast that it almost breaks the game?

Well I finally did it. Last night I found an extremely well rolled sentinel interceptor so I went all out and duplicated all of my best pulse engine mods and put them all on the super charged slots. Mind you these are just S-class mods and not X-class and I’m playing on Series X which is no slouch when it comes to performance. 3 super charged pulse drive mods and one super charged sublight amplifier. My ship is so fast it now breaks the games ability to load properly. It seems that extremely fast speeds somehow breaks the engines ability to properly load assets. For example if I pulse drive to a planet my ship can make it from the top of the atmosphere to ground level in only a few seconds but for some reason my console will now spend the next two minutes before it finally loads the blank terrain beneath me. Having a slower ship doesn’t create the same problem for some reason. I could imagine that installing well rolled X-class mods would make this problem even worse. I guess the moral of this story is that speed is only good up until your system craps out on being able to load the game properly at which point the wait time for loading offsets the time you saved traveling. Its funny that I have now had to downgrade my ship somewhat so it doesn’t break the game so badly.
