This has actually been so much fun.

If you have the original disc, you can remove all the game data on your PS4/PS5 and reinstall it while not connected to a network, and then cancel any pending updates that try to download while playing. I actually was broadcasting myself do it on Twitch, and it’s been so fun. There’s so many things I’m noticing that are just blowing my mind. Granted, I have been playing since day 1, but I just have a few things I want to mention that I completely forgot about.

•1.0 makes you feel lonely as all get out! There are rarely any life forms, space stations are super empty, and the planets just give off this eerily empty feeling. No matter have many animals are around, it just feels lonely.

•The way the planets look are insane. I encourage y’all to try this just to see how different planets generated their terrain years ago. It’s unbelievable. This version definitely favored canyons and tall, pillar like mountains. Just outstanding.

•Forgot there was no photo mode! And also, literally no title menu. It throws you right back in game at startup.

•The pillars of resources and where their location is just awesome. It definitely gives the planet more of an alien feel, and more of a megalophobia experience.

•I forgot there’s no terrain manipulator in the beginning! I went into a cave so deep, and got lost and literally couldn’t find the way out for half an hour. It was tragic.

•The inside of the ships are so plain. Almost no controls or anything. I also miss the “revving up” sound when you accelerate in the ship. It had a very futuristic feel.

•EVERYTHING requires Carbon to use. Health stations, computer terminals, and any other tech on the walls in buildings. Carbon feels like a currency.
