Am I permanently screwed?
Let me preface this by saying that I’ve gotten maybe five hours of sleep in the last two days and am not firing on all cylinders.
I just had a bunch of idiotic circumstances converge and I think I lost my stuff. So I was going to reset the galaxy, but since I didn’t want to go through the damaging all my stuff monotony, I converted nearly all of my technology to cargo in my Starborn Runner ship. Including my Analysis Visor.
Post-reset, I come out, realizing I forgot that it spawns you not immediately next to your ship. No biggie, just craft a new Analysis Visor, right? Well, since I’m a tired idiot, my first thought was oh, I’ll summon another ship and fly around, surely it’ll be visible from the air. It was not. Then, continuing my glorious stupidity, I land and exit the ship, thereby creating a restore point from after I set a new ship as my primary.
So, in short: my primary ship- the marked one- is now a different ship than the one I have all my technology in. I can’t reload restore points or autosaves because they don’t go back far enough. I can’t use a save editor or selector because I’m on console. I can’t summon the ship because the launch thrusters are damaged. Short of walking around in a circle for hours, I’m out of ideas. Am I screwed?
