Ship hunting is one of my favorite parts of No Man’s sky and it is NOT ruined

I don't interact with like 50% of the games content anyway so if something optional like shipbuilding will make me upset I can just ignore it like I ignore pets and farming and auto miners and literally any space combat. I haven't played the update yet but the one thing that I do hope for is for unmodified naturally generated ships be unmarked while visually customized ships have some kind of tag in the UI. But if not it's not a big deal.

Did a (freighter) jump through the core of Hilbert to Calypso, which dropped me within 4k LY or so of the Calypso center. Dropped a base in Calypso and did a (starship) jump through the center to Hesparius, again getting dropped within 4k or so of the Hesparius center. Dropped a base to keep the dimension accessible, then on to Hyades. Where I was again dropped within 4k or so of the galactic center.

I’m moving through dimensions in minutes, without stepping through a portal. Been a long time since I’ve done much climbing the ladder of galaxies but this is not normal, is it?
