Got the game recently after eyeing it (off and on) since release

It has gotten wayyyy better since I last saw gameplay. I have been obsessed since I first opened it lol.

Stumbled on an S rank starship pretty early on and that enabled me to progress pretty quickly. Currently taking lots of detours to find weird anomalies (btw, do those planets only appear in indium systems?). Should I prioritize the main questlin? Like, does finishing it give me good things, or can I just meander through the galaxy without missing better opportunities?

Here's a brief tour of my underwater base, Gayptim (it was an rng name i swear). I adore underwater bases in games, and I think No Man's Sky does it verrryyy well

Trick for pirate freighter battles

I dont know if y’all know this but I have seen some people asking about how to save both ships in the pirate freighter battles. This is what I do, when you spawn in go directly to the engines on the pirate freighter and shoot them out. This will stop the freighter from escaping. Then all you gotta do is destroy sheilds then fuel cells. This causes enough damage to make the ship surrender and it should give you an option to go to both of them.
