How to make the right color stay in glitched "Full Sail"?

As you might have seen, I recently made a boat and posted about it here. the thing is: this tail sail is a special kind of annoying, and for some reason it cant be rotated nor scaled, so I wire glitched it (with an upscaled wire) to make it be in that place. Most glitched pieces (or just repainted in general) will revert to their original (glitched) color and require you to repaint them for some time and after 4 or 5 times it usually stays in the selected color. the thing is, this sail is refusing to stay, I think I may have repainted it 20 times already but each time I get away from it, it resets to this non existing color (while black and grey are still selected). is there a way around this bug? or am I doomed to become a sail painter until my days are over? submitted by /u/ShelterJolly8 |
