It always bothered me somewhat that we have these plants we can cultivate for the purpose of building or crafting further items (or making loads of money on the market in the case of NipNip buds), but the plants you want to gather from for ingredients remain wild and untamed.
It’d be nice to be able to set up a farm base proper or have a microfarm on a freighter for your heptaloid wheats or impulse beans…

Hello fellow spacecowboys and interstellarinas. The name is Kpt. Kolorit (translates to beautiful bastard). I recently gave up the space bachelor life, chasing three eyed women with scales and whatnot. After years of clubbing and living in the fast lane, i decided to settle down. Build myself a masterpiece of a base. I mean, I even have a sink (works if you yank it once or twice). I proudly present, a place I can call my own. Dump-Star II. I was messing around with light boxes and colouring them red. Next I built some stairs and as you can see I made them red as well but I can’t duplicate this. Can anyone tell me how I was able to do this? Found this at a space station in my home galaxy right as I was about to log out, and I was instantly like “omg I need to buy this for my girlfriend”. She was peeking over my shoulder and had the same thought so I bought it as quick as I could! The lovely people here have shown me how to transfer ships, so when she plays next I’m going to give it to her. For right now it is safely docked in my freighter. I’ve finished the main quest and spent some time with the Anomaly, Nada and Polo, trying to explore and get past the events of the story. But I have to know, is there a way to find my friends? I miss Artemis and Apollo, I invested so much time into making sure Artemis was okay, not out in that lonely black. Is there anything I can do?
