And holy shit is this game good!
Had a really interesting unscripted event, where after completing the first page of the expedition, I was going to find the atlas, the system before the atlas system was a black hole. And I noted that I needed to enter a black hole for a milestone
Figuring I could find another atlas later and hedging my bets that wormhole wouldn’t close, I decided to go in
Straight into a pirate attack on a civilian frigate fleet. Without thinking I jumped into action defending the fleet killing all the pirates.
As soon as the Pirates lay dead I was hailed by the lead frigate to board and be given a reward. I was expecting a sizeable cash reward.
I was not expecting to claim my very own freighter and frigate that early into the game maybe an hour and a half into the save.
I enjoyed the game when it first came out (probably one of the few who did) but not to this level.

I’ve put in 15 hours or so into this latest patch and I have to tell you, it’s mildly annoying at best. Certainly not worth all the hate and nonsense. Two major things were noticeable to me in this patch. My jetpack fuel was definitely nerfed into the dirt and my ships were all jacked up.
I fixed my exosuit slots and aside from the jetpack fuel it doesn’t feel any different to me. I like the fall damage breaking stuff, its a neat little survival thing they added. I think I can live without being able to almost jet pack into space anymore.
Once I got my main ship reorganized the only bummer is my warp range was cut in half. My damage output went from killing stuff in 4 seconds….to killing stuff in 10 seconds. Hardly a difference. The warp distance nerf might actually make me work on my freighter finally and use it for travel. Not that bad. Since I’ve been living in the same neighborhood for 2 years I’m okay with losing 1500 light years off my max.
Multi tools are crazy buffed now since you can basically outfit one with everything and as far as damage output goes…they still shred everything. Not seeing an issue there. On foot combat being half of the reason you even min max mods anyway has remained unchanged in my opinion.
Basically we got easily the craziest buff to inventory space since launch and all it cost was a bit of jetpack fuel and warp distance….is that really worth all this anger? Also I’ve been here since launch and I see this as a new beginning. I think it’s easy to assume an overhaul on upgrades is probably in the works. Give it a minute. Geez.

A few years ago I finished a few of the storylines (I’m pretty sure that Atlas and I came to an agreement) and I ended up with all 16 glyphs then. I travelled to the 2nd galaxy, found my ship, then logged off. Haven’t been back to that save since. If I logged in would I have to get 16 new glyphs? Like, I think the symbols are all the same but would I have to collect them again?

I just found out that the dupe glitch works for Nanites as well, you just have to refine something into Nanites first. submitted by /u/Pete_Joe [link] [comments]

The title is what happened. I discovered the anomaly, was meeting all of the iterations, and then I saw some fellow Travelers and I started using finger gun emotes and jumping around. One of them said some stuff in Cyrillic that I didn’t understand and then filled my inventory with items that were worth more than 1000x my total earnings at that point.
I’ve played enough games like this to know that the struggle to survive and build your own equipment and base is kind of the point. So I haven’t sold anything — I just put it all in storage and have been playing as if I didn’t have it. Figured I would ask you all if you have any advice.
Is there anything you WOULD recommend spending it on? Maybe an annoying and non-immersive part of the new player experience that I can circumvent with a Scrooge McDuck swimming pool of money?

My friend took a picture of a house he saw in real life and I decided to design a base based on it. My first smaller-scale base so I was able to focus more detailed efforts on the interior. All the pictures are from different points of progress a…

Well we finally got another successful experiment in the books everyone. If you missed my last research drop, it was about how there is an invisible opening above the entrance to the new space stations and it is possible to space walk into. After space…
