The NMS community has become one of the most helpful and useful resources we have. There’s so many things I’ve learned from tutorials, videos and posts that I couldn’t list them all if I tried.

But while you can find tons of help on nearly every aspect of the game, improving base lighting isn’t one of them. I’m hoping we can begin to change that. I know I’m not the only one that it would benefit.

I’m sure others already knew this, but my contribution is using the Candelabra Bloom. Of all the base lights offered, it seems the candelabra provides the broadest, and brightest lighting.

Unfortunately, since we can no longer turn the candelabra upside down, it can only be used on floors or pieces of furniture. But since I’ve learned wire glitching, I’ve found that’s one way it can still be flipped. It takes a lot of practice though.

There’s been so many new things added to NMS that I don’t want to sound ungrateful, but of all the improvements, base lighting continues to be subpar. Please share any techniques or tricks you may have learned. Thank you.
