It’s always bothering me that large ships like the hauler don’t have an interior that I can walk around in. Now I understand that the procedural generation would cause developing an interior to be hard especially with many ships containing many different assets and bodies but I think that hello Games should start off with developing a new ship that features a cockpit an interior, one or two turrets and multiple seats. Having a ship like this brings the potential to have bounty missions where we can hunt down wanted aliens for rewards Gunships can feature a new module that allows turrets to fire without a pilot, giving us 4 guns to use instead of 2. Like the autopilot with our mech. I would love to have my ship fly on autopilot to a planet while roaming around my interior. Imagine playing VR and making your ship fly to a certain planet and while you wait you sit down somewhere on your ship. I would definitely take the time to travel to a planet rather than pulsing everywhere if that was the case. Hell even put that mechanic onto our freighters. I would love to walk around a moving ship submitted by /u/codmike86 |

My buddy and I decided to play NMS for the first time yesterday. After a couple hours of moving from planet to planet, we made a LFG post asking for help understanding what we were supposed to do, and a couple people joined us and gave us a ton of help…

taken from my archived clips, few updates ago but the battle was exhilarating. Favorite moment is the last few seconds where I nearly crash into the planet, you can even hear the whooshing of the engines. Chillsssssss 🥶 🚀 submitted by …

I created a second save to play around with bytebeat without affecting the part limit on my main save so I’m curious if I’m up against a global limit.

So I know there is the base building items you obtain in the anomaly and the ones through the quicksilver shop but I just found out about the items in pirate stations you can buy for tainted metal..i knew there were items to buy but not base building items… my question is.. are there any off the beaten path vendors or stations or trade terminals that have rare base parts? I’d like to collect everything I can for my building 👷♂️. Thanks traveler’s!

I’m still pretty new to the game, just got my first freighter and settlement. I love exploring.
But the specific roleplay experience I’m looking for is to: Go somewhere, maybe random
Land my ship on a planet and generally not rely on it for inner atmosphere travel or saving my ass
Find someone who needs help or that something needs to be improved, which I’d be able to do without leaving the planet and not just pulling the fix from my inventory
Then I make my way back to my ship having “saved the day” and off to find someone else in need
Are there missions which fit this experience, either that the mission sends me there or that it’s something to do when I find a settlement which I’m not the leader of? If there’s these types of on-planet missions settlements give, I could warp into a system, search the closest settlement, land there, and do whatever local dangerous things they need.
